Granite Bay is an upscale community in Placer County situated east of Roseville and west of Folsom Lake. The community boasts of a very high quality of life due to its great location, sound community plan, first rate schools, numerous churches, a low crime rate and excellent recreation opportunities.

The community is home to some of the Sacramento area's finest homes including a variety of custom-built luxury Spanish-style and Tudor properties. One may choose from guard gated estate communities, equestrian properties or acreage.

The area is comprised of gated, semi-gated, and open neighborhoods including Los Lagos, Shelborne and Wexford. Properties range from palatial estates to modestly-sized family homes, in addition to several horse ranches. Neighborhoods in the area embraced Granite Bay’s natural surroundings in their landscaping, including incorporating granite outcroppings for which the area was named.

Granite Bay Community Park offers baseball fields, soccer fields, playgrounds, a BBQ pavilion, picnic areas, and bicycle/pedestrian trails. It is one of several parks of its kind in the area, including Miners Ravine Nature Reserve, Treelake Park, Douglas Ranch Park, Sterling Point Part, Ronald L. Feist Park, which collectively offer a number of playgrounds, picnic areas, tennis courts, and soccer and baseball fields.

Granite Bay is also known for its exceptional schools. Eureka Union School District consistently holds the highest academic performance index of any district within 50 miles of Sacramento and is a major draw for the community, along with the neighboring Roseville Joint Union School District. Both offer International Baccalaureate (IB) level education programs at Granite Bay High School as well as Oakmont High School.

Granite Bay is home to shopping centers filled with restaurants, coffee shops, fitness studios and seasonal farmers markets. Residents need not travel far for family-friendly outings, with Sacramento and Roseville minutes away.

Natural beauty is abundant in the area, which includes rolling hills, mature oak trees and granite rock outcroppings peppered with seasonal streams and lakes. Granite Bay/Roseville offers a wide selection of lifestyle choices in real estate.
